Regression: Discarding [..] libgcc_s.so.1 for missing version GCC_3.0
Hi!

Noticed some applications stopped working after upgrading to latest main, all with similar output/errors to this example from Into the Breach:

The relevant bit seems to be `Discarding /usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/libgcc_s.so.1 for missing version GCC_3.0`

I've bisected the offending commit to 362a3fde10a3bb2738fcf30ae2e2eaf4a53df042 .

Running on Fedora 38, M1 mac.
