* contrib/vhost-user-gpu: add support for sending dmabuf modifiersErico Nunes2023-09-121-3/+48
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | virglrenderer recently added virgl_renderer_resource_get_info_ext as a new api, which gets resource information, including dmabuf modifiers. We have to support dmabuf modifiers since the driver may choose to allocate buffers with these modifiers for efficiency, and importing buffers without modifiers information may result in completely broken rendering. * contrib/vhost-user-gpu: implement get_edid featureErico Nunes2023-07-101-0/+3
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | Implement the virtio-gpu feature in contrib/vhost-user-gpu, which was unsupported until now. In this implementation, the feature is enabled inconditionally to avoid creating another optional config argument. Similarly to get_display_info, vhost-user-gpu sends a message back to the frontend to have access to all the display information. In the case of get_edid, it also needs to pass which scanout we should retrieve the edid for. The VHOST_USER_GPU_PROTOCOL_F_EDID protocol feature is required if the frontend sets the VIRTIO_GPU_F_EDID virtio-gpu feature. If the frontend sets the virtio-gpu feature but does not support the protocol feature, the backend will abort with an error. * vhost-user-gpu: abstract vg_cleanup_mapping_iovLi Qiang2021-05-271-4/+5
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | Currently in vhost-user-gpu, we free resource directly in the cleanup case of resource. If we change the cleanup logic we need to change several places, also abstruct a 'vg_create_mapping_iov' can be symmetry with the 'vg_create_mapping_iov'. This is like what virtio-gpu does, no function changed. | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | If 'virgl_cmd_get_capset' set 'max_size' to 0, the 'virgl_renderer_fill_caps' will write the data after the 'resp'.
