* bitbang_i2c: avoid call to sysbus_init_mmio()Avi Kivity2011-11-241-1/+3
| | | | | | | Instead of calling sysbus_init_mmio() with a null region, create a dummy region using the memory API. Signed-off-by: Avi Kivity <avi@redhat.com>
* Use glib memory allocation and free functionsAnthony Liguori2011-08-201-1/+1
| | | | | | qemu_malloc/qemu_free no longer exist after this commit. Signed-off-by: Anthony Liguori <aliguori@us.ibm.com>

* bitbang_i2c: Fix spurious slave read after NACKMarcus Comstedt2011-05-281-1/+4
| | | | | | | | | After NACKing a read operation, a raising SCL should not trigger a new read from the slave. Introduce a new state which just waits for a stop or start condition after NACK. * GPIO I2C reworkPaul Brook2009-11-221-99/+146
| | | | | | | | | | Reqrite bitbanging I2C implementation. New code improves stop/start condition handling, and gives more accurate input line level. Introduce intermediate abstraction layer for I2C bitbanging that is not connected via a GPIO port. Signed-off-by: Paul Brook <paul@codesourcery.com>
* qdev: add return value to init() callbacks.Gerd Hoffmann2009-08-271-1/+3
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | Sorry folks, but it has to be. One more of these invasive qdev patches. We have a serious design bug in the qdev interface: device init callbacks can't signal failure because the init() callback has no return value. This patch fixes it. We have already one case in-tree where this is needed: Try -device virtio-blk-pci (without drive= specified) and watch qemu segfault. This patch fixes it. With usb+scsi being converted to qdev we'll get more devices where the init callback can fail for various reasons.
