* tests/avocado: Add ppc pseries and powernv hash MMU testsNicholas Piggin2024-02-231-3/+17
| | | | | | | | | POWER CPUs support hash and radix MMU modes. Linux supports running in either mode, but defaults to radix. To keep up testing of QEMU's hash MMU implementation, add some Linux hash boot tests. Reviewed-by: Cédric Le Goater <clg@kaod.org> Signed-off-by: Nicholas Piggin <npiggin@gmail.com>
* tests/avocado: ppc test VOF bios Linux bootNicholas Piggin2023-06-251-0/+11
| | | | | | | | | | | | | VOF is the new lightweight fast pseries bios. Add a Linux boot test using VOF. More tests could be moved to use VOF becasue it's much faster, but just dip one toe in the water first here. SLOF should continue to be tested too. * tests/avocado: Rename avocado_qemu.Test -> QemuSystemTestPhilippe Mathieu-Daudé2021-11-081-2/+2
| | | | | | | | | | | | | To run user-mode emulation tests, we introduced the avocado_qemu.QemuUserTest which inherits from avocado_qemu.QemuBaseTest. System-mode emulation tests are based on the avocado_qemu.Test class, which also inherits avocado_qemu.QemuBaseTest. To avoid confusion, rename it as avocado_qemu.QemuSystemTest. * tests/acceptance: rename tests acceptance to tests avocadoWillian Rampazzo2021-11-081-0/+35
In the discussion about renaming the `tests/acceptance` [1], the conclusion was that the folders inside `tests` are related to the framework running the tests and not directly related to the type of the tests. This changes the folder to `tests/avocado` and adjusts the MAKEFILE, the CI related files and the documentation.
