(apologies if I miss something) I see the following error when I run an application on my QEMU based VM running ubuntu linux: Code=4d 39 c8 7f 64 0f 1f 40 00 4d 8d 40 80 49 81 f8 80 00 00 00 <66> 0f 7f 07 66 0f 7f 47 10 66 0f 7f 47 20 66 0f 7f 47 30 66 0f 7f 47 40 66 0f 7f 47 50 66 KVM internal error. I would need to patch up the qemu-kvm on the host to get this fixed, I think. Please let me know if I need to provide more info, (and what?) Regards, Prashant RHEL 6.6 and qemu-kvm 0.12 are *very* old, can't you update the machine to a newer version? At least RHEL 6.10, or even better RHEL 7 or 8? Unfortunately, I am not is a position to upgraded (due to various reasons). The case passes with RHEL 7.3, so, but I need to find the issue RHEL 6.6. (to be sure I don't the bug is NOT in my code). Is there a way that I can keep patching the KVM up to the newer versions, and then, find the version where the issue is fixed. May be that helps. And how do analyse this error info.
