* tests/docker: use debian-all-test-cross for mipsAlex Bennée2023-10-311-19/+0
| | | | | | | | | | | Maintaining two sets of containers for test building is silly. While it makes sense for the QEMU cross-compile targets to have their own fat containers built by lcitool we might as well merge the other random debian based compilers into the same one used on gitlab. * tests/docker: add USER stanzas to non-lci imagesAlex Bennée2023-03-011-0/+5
| | | | | | | | | | These are flat but not generated by lcitool so we need to manually update them with the `useradd` stanza. Reviewed-by: Daniel P. * Deprecate 32 bit big-endian MIPSAlex Bennée2022-09-201-28/+10
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | It's becoming harder to maintain a cross-compiler to test this host architecture as the old stable Debian 10 ("Buster") moved into LTS which supports fewer architectures. For now: - mark it's deprecation in the docs - downgrade the containers to build TCG tests only - drop the cross builds from our CI Users with an appropriate toolchain and user-space can still take their chances building it. * tests/docker: change tag naming scheme of our imagesAlex Bennée2020-07-111-1/+1
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | We've been misusing the tag naming scheme for some time by overloading the post : section with the image type. Really it should be saved for the revision of that particular build. Move the details to the other side so we have: qemu/image-name with the implied :latest version added by the tooling. * tests/docker: use --arch-only for installing depsAlex Bennée2019-09-101-3/+3
| | | | | | | | | | | The Debian QEMU packages require a bunch of cross compilers for building firmware which aren't available on all host architectures. Using --arch-only skips this particular requirement and allows us to install just the dependencies we need. * tests/docker: set DEF_TARGET_LIST for some containersAlex Bennée2019-09-101-0/+1
| | | | | | | | | You can assume the failures most people are interested in are the cross-compile failures that are specific to the cross compile target. Set DEF_TARGET_LIST based on what we use for shippable, the user can always override by calling with TARGET_LIST set. Signed-off-by: Alex Bennée <alex.bennee@linaro.org>
* tests/docker: Refresh APT cache before installing new packages on DebianPhilippe Mathieu-Daudé2019-07-231-7/+9
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | Since docker caches the different layers, updating the package list does not invalidate the previous "apt-get update" layer, and it is likely "apt-get install" hits an outdated repository.
