* thread-pool: Remove thread_pool_submit() functionMaciej S. Szmigiero2025-03-061-3/+3
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | This function name conflicts with one used by a future generic thread pool function and it was only used by one test anyway. Update the trace event name in thread_pool_submit_aio() accordingly. * thread-pool: avoid passing the pool parameter every timeEmanuele Giuseppe Esposito2023-04-251-7/+5
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | thread_pool_submit_aio() is always called on a pool taken from qemu_get_current_aio_context(), and that is the only intended use: each pool runs only in the same thread that is submitting work to it, it can't run anywhere else. Therefore simplify the thread_pool_submit* API and remove the ThreadPool function parameter. * tests: Move unit tests into a separate directoryThomas Huth2021-03-121-0/+250
The main tests directory still looks very crowded, and it's not clear which files are part of a unit tests and which belong to a different test subsystem. Let's clean up the mess and move the unit tests to a separate directory.
