* include: Rename sysemu/ -> system/Philippe Mathieu-Daudé2024-12-201-1/+1
| | | | | | | | | | | | | Headers in include/sysemu/ are not only related to system *emulation*, they are also used by virtualization. Rename as system/ which is clearer. Files renamed manually then mechanical change using sed tool. | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | The name "iothread" is overloaded. Use the term Big QEMU Lock (BQL) instead, it is already widely used and unambiguous. * hw/mips: Merge 'hw/mips/cpudevs.h' with 'target/mips/cpu.h'Philippe Mathieu-Daudé2023-10-191-1/+0
| | | | | | | | | | | "hw/mips/cpudevs.h" contains declarations which are specific to the MIPS architecture; it doesn't make sense for these to be called from a non-MIPS architecture. Move the declarations to "target/mips/cpu.h". | | | | | | | | | | | | Currently, KVM/MIPS only deliver I/O interrupt via IP2, this patch add IP3 delivery as well, because Loongson-3 based machine use both IRQ2 (CPU's IP2) and IRQ3 (CPU's IP3). * Include hw/hw.h exactly where neededMarkus Armbruster2019-08-161-1/+0
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | In my "build everything" tree, changing hw/hw.h triggers a recompile of some 2600 out of 6600 objects (not counting tests and objects that don't depend on qemu/osdep.h). The previous commits have left only the declaration of hw_error() in hw/hw.h. This permits dropping most of its inclusions. Touching it now recompiles less than 200 objects. * Include hw/irq.h a lot lessMarkus Armbruster2019-08-161-0/+1
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | In my "build everything" tree, changing hw/irq.h triggers a recompile of some 5400 out of 6600 objects (not counting tests and objects that don't depend on qemu/osdep.h). hw/hw.h supposedly includes it for convenience. Several other headers include it just to get qemu_irq and.or qemu_irq_handler. Move the qemu_irq and qemu_irq_handler typedefs from hw/irq.h to qemu/typedefs.h, and then include hw/irq.h only where it's still needed. Touching it now recompiles only some 500 objects. * hw: move headers to include/Paolo Bonzini2013-04-081-1/+1
| | | | | | | | | Many of these should be cleaned up with proper qdev-/QOM-ification. Right now there are many catch-all headers in include/hw/ARCH depending on cpu.h, and this makes it necessary to compile these files per-target. However, fixing this does not belong in these patches.
