* hw/input/ps2.c: Convert TYPE_PS2_{KBD, MOUSE}_DEVICE to 3-phase resetPeter Maydell2022-12-161-1/+1
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | Convert the child classes TYPE_PS2_KBD_DEVICE and TYPE_PS2_MOUSE_DEVICE to the 3-phase reset system. This allows us to stop using the old device_class_set_parent_reset() function. We don't need to register an 'exit' phase function for the subclasses, because they have no work to do in that phase. Passing NULL to resettable_class_set_parent_phases() will result in the parent class method being called for that phase, so we don't need to register a function purely to chain to the parent 'exit' phase function. * ps2: remove update_irq() function and update_arg parameterMark Cave-Ayland2022-06-261-4/+2
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | Now that all the PS2 devices have been converted to use GPIOs the update_irq() callback function and the update_arg parameter can be removed. This allows these arguments to be completely removed from ps2_kbd_init() and ps2_mouse_init(), along with the transitional logic that was added to ps2_raise_irq() and ps2_lower_irq(). | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | ps2_lower_irq() Define the gpio for the PS2 output IRQ in ps2_init() and add logic to optionally use it in ps2_raise_irq() and ps2_lower_irq() if the gpio is connected. If the gpio is not connected then call the legacy update_irq() function as before. This allows the incremental conversion of devices from the legacy update_irq() function to use gpios instead. * ps2: Fix mouse stream corruption due to lost dataGeoffrey McRae2018-05-151-0/+5
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | This fixes an issue by adding bounds checking to multi-byte packets where the PS/2 mouse data stream may become corrupted due to data being discarded when the PS/2 ringbuffer is full. Interrupts for Multi-byte responses are postponed until the final byte has been queued. These changes fix a bug where windows guests drop the mouse device entirely requring the guest to be restarted. * hw: move headers to include/Paolo Bonzini2013-04-081-0/+38
Many of these should be cleaned up with proper qdev-/QOM-ification. Right now there are many catch-all headers in include/hw/ARCH depending on cpu.h, and this makes it necessary to compile these files per-target. However, fixing this does not belong in these patches.
