* tests/functional: Use the tuxrun kernel for the aarch64 replay testThomas Huth2025-04-231-160/+0
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | This way we can do a full boot in record-replay mode and should get a similar test coverage compared to the old replay test from tests/avocado/replay_linux.py. Since the aarch64 test was the last avocado test in the tests/avocado/replay_linux.py file, we can remove this file now completely. Reviewed-by: Daniel P. * tests/avocado: excercise scripts/replay-dump.py in replay testsNicholas Piggin2024-08-161-0/+10
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | This runs replay-dump.py after recording a trace, and fails the test if the script fails. replay-dump.py is modified to exit with non-zero if an error is encountered while parsing, to support this. * tests/avocado: Move LinuxTest related code into a separate fileThomas Huth2024-07-221-1/+1
| | | | | | | | | | | | Only some few tests are using the LinuxTest class. Move the related code into a separate file so that this does not pollute the main namespace. * tests/avocado: modernise the drive args for replay_linuxAlex Bennée2024-01-081-2/+5
| | | | | | | | | | QEMU complains about us not being explicit with setting snapshot so lets do that. Also as cdroms are RO media we don't need to jump the hoops of setting up snapshots and replay disks - just declare the drive is a cdrom and nothing should change. * tests/avocado: Do not run tests that require libslirp if it is not availableThomas Huth2022-08-291-0/+1
| | | | | | | | | | Some avocado tests blindly assume that QEMU has been compiled with libslirp enabled and fail badly if it is missing. Add a proper check to cancel the tests in this case. * tests/acceptance: rename tests acceptance to tests avocadoWillian Rampazzo2021-11-081-0/+116
In the discussion about renaming the `tests/acceptance` [1], the conclusion was that the folders inside `tests` are related to the framework running the tests and not directly related to the type of the tests. This changes the folder to `tests/avocado` and adjusts the MAKEFILE, the CI related files and the documentation.
